Motivation is a powerful thing. It’s intangible, we can’t measure it, touch it etc. but we can see its results and by its results know how much of it was there. It’s the reason we do things, we get up early every day, get dressed in clothes that we don’t like but will impress other people. Go to a job that we maybe don’t like. We stay there for a long time and come home pretty late. Why? What reason is there to do this, money! We need to pay the bills and live.
事情背後的動機是強大的推力。動機是無形的，我們無法測量，也無法觸摸，但我們可以看見它帶來的結果與它的存在。動機是我們做事、每天早起、穿上自己不喜歡但能讓人留下好印象的衣服的原因。我們去做沒那麼喜歡的工作，在公司待了很久，很晚才回家，為了什麼？為了什麼原因要這麼做？錢！我們需要付帳單過日子。
Man has done some great things. Gone to the moon, built great bridges, harnessed electricity. But in each case there was a why, they went to the moon to answer some scientific questions. We harnessed electricity because it would make life easier.
人類做了許多偉大的事情，登陸月球、建造大橋、使用電力。每一件事情發生都有原因。人類去月球尋找某些科學問題的答案。我們使用電力因為它讓生活更便利。
In Isaiah 16, verse 5, it says; In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it—one from the house of David—one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness.
以賽亞書16:5說：必有寶座因慈愛堅立，必有一位誠誠實實坐在其上，在大衛帳幕中施行審判，尋求公平，速行公義。
We needed God to step in to our mess and sin and help us. Why does he do this? He does it not because he feels sorry for us, out of pity. He does it because of his love, He is love and every thing he does is out of love, it’s what drives Him, it’s what drove Him to establish Jesus on the throne.
我們需要上帝介入混亂與罪中來幫助我們。為何祂要這麼做？祂這麼做，不是因為祂可憐我們，為我們感到遺憾。祂這麼做是因為祂的愛。神是愛，祂所做的一切都是出於愛，愛就是祂的動機，使祂堅立耶穌在寶座上的動機。
Do you feel unloved today? Think of God creating the tree. He created it at the beginning of the world. When he made it he knew that one day its wood would be used to make a cross for his own death. He knew the people he created would turn their backs on him and put him on the cross. But he still went ahead and created it. Why? He thought of you, and loved you. At the creation of the world you were loved, and have been loved for thousands of years.
你今天感覺不被愛嗎？思想神創造了樹，在創世的時候祂就創造了樹，當祂在創造樹時，祂知道有朝一日，樹的木頭會被用來做成讓祂死亡的十字架。但祂仍舊創造了樹，為什麼呢？祂想到你，祂愛你。創世的時候你就被愛了，並持續被愛了數千年。
What can we do today?
1. Accept his love. Accept that he loves you and thank him for who he is. Try to know it in here, your heart, and not just in your head.
2. Be a channel for his love. Love others because you are loved. Don’t love others with the idea that you’ll receive something from them. They’ll love you in return or whatever other reason there may be, simply love them!
我們今天能做什麼呢？
1. 接受祂的愛。接受祂愛你並為了祂獻上感謝。試著用心了解，而不只是用頭腦理解。
2. 成為祂愛的管道。愛人，因為你先被愛。不要因為你會得到別人的回報才願意去愛人。即便別人以愛回報或是其他原因，就簡簡單單地去愛人吧！

我們來禱告。
God you are love. Thank you that you established your kingdom on love. Thank you because of your love we can be a part of that kingdom. I pray that as we realise this and make it truth in our lives that we would be better channels of your love than we have been. May we be more loving and be more loving to those around us every day.
神，祢是愛。謝謝祢以慈愛建立寶座。謝謝祢，因為祢的愛，我們可以成為國度的一份子。我禱告，當我們明白這個真理，讓我們在生活中可以活出愛，讓我們成為比以前更好的愛的管道。願我們成為更有愛的人，並對週遭的人更有愛。
