In 1945 world war 2 ended. Japan had surrendered. But even though it was finished, one man, Lieutenant Onoda, kept on fighting. He was stationed on a small island in the Philippines and hid in the jungle and kept his post for 29 more years. He refused to believe that the war was over or that Japan had surrendered. In 1974 it took a delegation from Japan and his brother to convince him to lay down his weapons and go home.
1945年第二次世界大戰結束。日本投降。雖然戰爭結束了，有一位日本軍官小野田寬郎仍不放棄。他在一座菲律賓島嶼的叢林中堅守崗位29年。他拒絕相信大戰結束日本投降。1974年日本派出代表以及他的弟弟勸他棄械回鄉。
Do you know that we do the same thing? We live as those we are still in the midst of a war between good and evil; worse than that, most people do not even believe that such a war exists! That's not true of Satan. He knows that the war is already over; he knows he is already defeated. He has convinced many otherwise.
你知道我們也會做同樣的事嗎？我們活得好像仍舊在善與惡的戰爭之間，更糟的是，大部份的人不相信這個戰爭的存在。但魔鬼不是這樣想的，牠知道戰爭已經結束；牠知道牠已經被打敗了。
Psalm 47 reminds of a few things,
It reminds us Who is on the throne. God is on the throne.
It reminds us of what he has done. He has won the victory and he has ascended.
詩篇47篇提醒我們，是誰在寶座上？神在寶座上。詩篇47篇提醒我們神所完成的工作。祂已經得著勝利並升到天上。
This psalm would fit in well in the book of Revelations. It’s prophetic, it tells us about the end. In the end God is victorious and the Psalm says his people are also victorious.
這首詩篇和啟示錄相映襯。它的預言告訴我們關於末世。最終，上帝得勝，並且，祂的子民也得勝。
I want to encourage you today to live in every way like the victory is yours. In verse 1 it says,” Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy.” In other words, show outwardly what you believe. Let your life reflect the victory that is already ours through God. Don’t live as if you are defeated, in no way are we defeated. Even death, for us now has no sting.
今天我要鼓勵你，在每個層面，都活得與你的得勝相稱。第一節說：「萬民哪，你們都要拍掌，要用誇勝的聲音向神呼喊！」換句話說，將你的信念表現在你的行為上。讓你的生命反映出藉著神我們已得勝。別活得好像被打敗的樣子，因為我們絕對沒有被打敗，即使死亡對我們而言也沒有毒勾。

Thank you God for this passage. Thank you so much for what a reminder it is for us today. You are on the throne. You ascended into heaven. Jesus you died and were in the grave for three days, and yet you rose from the dead, not to live on earth, but to ascend to heaven to take your place as the king over everything, as a king who’s victorious, we your people share your victory. We share what you’ve done and we thank you for that. Today Lord I just pray that we would love and walk in the victory you’ve given us. Help us to walk confidently and bolding knowing that through you and because of you we are not a defeated people. It doesn’t matter what happens to us. We are victorious through you over all things. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.
